Misi Lestari 2023: See Nature

Over 23 thousand photos from Indonesia competed globally in the photo contest with the theme "See Nature" held by YKAN and our global partner, The Nature Conservancy (TNC).

"See Nature" was appointed as the theme of YKAN's annual campaign, known as "Mission Lestari" in 2023. This time, the two activities offered to participate in this campaign are a photo contest and a fun run. More than 23 thousand photos entered the global contest The Nature Conservancy (TNC) held annually. There were 150 photos in 12 categories selected to take part in a local photo contest in Indonesia, with judges known to be experts in the field of photography, namely Arbain Rambey, Riza Marlon, and Marrysa Tunjung Sari. This photo work from Indonesia will also be exhibited in Senayan City on November 13 – 19, 2023.

Misi Lestari - See Nature "See Nature" was appointed as the theme of YKAN's annual campaign, known as "Misi Lestari".

Apart from the photo contest, fun run activities were also held to support the coral and cocoa commodity protection program in East Kalimantan. More than 300 runners participated in the fun run event on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Flavor Bliss, Alam Sutera. The two winners of this photo contest and fun run activity will take part in an educational tour in Berau, East Kalimantan, with the YKAN team in June 2024.

Hopefully, this Sustainable Mission activity will increase public awareness of the need to protect Indonesia's nature. The excitement of the Sustainable Mission will be repeated in 2024. Take advantage of the information.
