Women for Nature

Conservation Talk is part of the Earth Day 2022 celebration, which celebrates and highlights the work of Indonesian women from the public in general and YKAN's assistance in efforts to support Indonesia's natural preservation. Therefore, YKAN invites various parties to participate in this event, such as representatives from Environmental NGOs, Media, Community Organizations and YKAN-assisted groups, Educational Institutions, YKAN Nature Ambassadors, and especially the winners of the Women For Nature 2022 story contest.

Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara (YKAN) and partners echo the role of women in providing solutions to environmental problems faced at the celebration of Earth Day in 2022. With the theme "Women for nature," YKAN encourages the importance of women as part of society who can speak and make breakthroughs, provide solutions and organize movements to protect and protect nature while ensuring sustainable livelihoods.

This 2022 Earth Day celebration will be held an entire year from April 22 to remind us that every day in life is a day to celebrate the earth itself. Therefore, YKAN partners with women's groups, individuals, media, and community organizations to build a strong voice and network for Planet Earth through various stories, including campaigns on social media, competitions, and publications in national media, including sharing stories at the Conservation event. The talk is YKAN's platform for outreach and networking to support conservation programs for Sustainable Indonesia. This time the Conservation Talk will feature the winners of the 'Women for Nature' Contest, individuals or groups recommended by the public to be awarded the title 'Nature Heroes YKAN' for their efforts to preserve nature in their respective areas.
